Upon request from Mr Boombastic, i decided to fulfill my promise to give an update on Amazring race Asia - part 2. After the Balut experience in Manila..teams heads off to Pila laguna..a 2 hrs bus drive outside the city. The Filipino duo managed to sweet talk their way and managed to get the bus driver to leave 15 minutes earlier leaving the rest of the teams behind. The other teams tried the same technique but was unsuccessful. The Hot Thai chicks managed to begged some money during the trip, and the couple with the noisy wife managed to make the whole bus sing to the Philippine national anthem along the way...weird!
The next task is to direct a cow ( kerabau) to make an imaginary number 8 along the paddy field. Amazingly, Marc, the Filipino TV show dude is not just a charmer among the chicks but among the kerabaus too. Its all seems to be so natural to him and he finished the task in no time. The French bimbo however faced a mighty difficult time...we speculate it must be her French accent which the krabau had no hope of understanding.!!
The next and last task was teams faced a detour to either match a pile of 200 pairs of shoes or assemble a bike. For me the highlight was when the black army stood up against his noisy wife and make her shut up and let him assemble the bicycle himself.It was hilarious! This episode also witnessed probably an end to a long relationship between a two loving couples over a stupid bicycle. His impatience and intolerance to her tired and confused girlfriend is so annoying enough to make me to go to Philippine and slap this bastard!
At this point..our favourite is still the filipino duo although the two sisters from Malaysia also looks promising! I guess only time will tell...!
