I think i must have lost around 15 balls this afternoon...damn those bloody ponds and hazards. My overall pint was 128 which is actually an improvement from my last game! Tomorrow will be practising my iron arnd the par 3 course..hope i can score below 40 tomorrow..till then..night night

Food Heaven

Discovered some new places to eat in KL. My highlight was definitely Tarbush in StarHill and La-Careta in Persiaran Ampang. Tarbush offers some fantastic Mediterrenean cuisine while La-Careta is a Mexican/American food specializing in Mexican foods duh! hahaha. (lame! Misses He-Man).

Attached herewith are some shots taken that night.

Night City Shots

My first attempt to City Night Shot photography. Its not that great, but hey there is always a first time to everything. Guess where this shot was taken from?

Tired!

Man oh man..it was a tiring trip..out all night .till at one point we totally forgot that we are on a business trip hehe. Will blog more abt it in the next edition. As for now..i`m tired..my exam is just three weeks away and i havent laid a single min on that bloody study materials..furthermore .a collleague called just now to remind me that ive got to present something to the mgt tommorow..errksss! Looks like its gna be a another late night for me!

Oh before i forgot..a giant monitor lizard passed by me when i was about to hit my ball on the fairway this afternoon..i was totally shocked and totally disrupted my game..a potential par became a 9 stroker! On the bright side..almost had my first birdie on a par 3 hole...but i guess its just not my luck yet..will not give up! Mental note: i need to pay that indian dude $12 for the balls i bought this afternoon..in my defense i got no small change and desperately in the need for more balls!

K then..ciao!

A year older not a year wiser : )

Yeah, its my Bday today..turning 27 this year. ..a year older not sure if im a year wiser: ) . She-Ra keep on hassling me to deicde what i want for my bday..i really cant think of anything that i really want at the moment, a phone..my phone is still good, a golf set, i cant even swing properly yet with my old set, more toys? she will kill me..lens?? dont see any use for it yet...so i told her its ok...im fine..im happy with what i have: )

She-Ra suprised me with a super special dinner the chocolate cake and Calderetta (beef thingy with a potato and a really yummy sauce). The birds were there too joining us for dinner. They brought fried chicken and ice cream. After overeating, they put on the first episode of Supernatural. I do not know if She-Ra and I want to finish off the series

I got the feeling that it will be an interesting and challenging year ahead...lets just wait and see..

Perodua news. I got this from the BBC - I swear!! hehe

Need to share this with you!

Malaysia lambasts Top Gear host
Jeremy Clarkson
Jeremy Clarkson thinks Perodua Kelisa sounds like a disease
Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has come under attack in the Malaysian parliament for labelling one of the country's cars the worst in the world.

The BBC presenter has been filmed attacking the Perodua Kelisa with a sledgehammer before blowing it up.

But minister Abdul Raman Suliman defended the nation's car industry, saying Mr Clarkson was like a football commentator who cannot play football.

Perodua had not received a single complaint from UK owners, he told MPs.

He added that the comments were made merely to boost sales of the Top Gear magazine.

'Soulless'

Mr Clarkson has voiced his frustrations with the small three-cylinder model in both magazine articles and on film.

In one article, he said its name was like a disease and suggested it was built in jungles by people who wear leaves for shoes.

And in a DVD car review, he described it as "unimaginative junk, with no soul, no flair and no passion".

He then smashed it, hung it from a crane with a one-tonne weight attached, before blowing it up.

Perodua is Malaysia's second national carmaker and began producing small compact models in 1995.

No more 18 holes Virgin

Had my first attempt at 18-holes course in RBA this morning. I havent finished my lessons with my golf coach so i stuck to my Iron 4 for the long drive thorughout the course. My score was 140 which i thought was not really bad for a beginner. Took us almost 5 hours to complete the course mainly due to having to give way to other hot grumpy competition golfers.

If I am to describe RBA course... it is 'damn difficult' and it was sooo hot. Another frustration was that my golf parter is as short-sighted as I am.... so once the ball went up... it was pretty much like a treasure hunt.... thus 10 balls were lost. Hehe. Which is great for the little man on a bike selling balls gathered off the Jerudong golf course. Once I find him that is... then I can get my 50 balls for 20 bucks.

I guess I'll have to give it a few more goes before I can join the DRM Golfers for their monthly championships. Cheers.

Working Abroad

A friend of mine called me up and told me he got a job in a law firm in New York. Life is quite hectic but the same time he really enjoyed every bit of his time in that city. When i asked him..what makes him wana do it..he just simply answered.." im doing it for the experience". He understand the difficulty of getting promoted and specifically to be accepted as a partner in that firm,,but what the heck...he is still young..and he got nothing to loose to accept the job and just go for it. He told me he will come back to Singapore in a few years time enough for him to save and explore that side of the world.

I wonder how many young Bruneians are willing to take that risk..to come out of their comfort zone...to put aside whatever wonderful things that they have in Brunei and venture for a new experience, new life, new culture...etc. I know a lot would like to do it...but i wonder how many will actually do...
