Tandoor.com experience

Heard so much abt this restaurant and decided to give it a try this week. It was just the three of us as the other "B" members were in KL to accompany the "bird". I was taken by a complete surprise the minute i walked into the restaurant and was quite amazed with the authenticity and uniqueness of the restaurant. Pity that i dint bring my camera as i would love to share and snap some of the items that i saw in that restaurant.

The restaurant was full of Indian decos...there was a table full of traditional Indian musical instruments, gold platted pillars, those Indian looking lamps, Indian looking plates..basically all Indian except for the chair as we saw a chop saying it was made in China hehe. As for the food, we tried a spicy papadom, ala Ghobi, Garlic nun, Murksh Masala and Rogan Josh lamb and it was all gooood!. Ms He-Man literally lick away all the sauces and for once we finished all our food.

We asked for the bill and to our surprise it came in a cute small metal decorative treasury box. Upon paying the bills, the waiter further surprised us with an A4 size treasure box which contained 4 types of grain look alike things which was actually sweetener to remove the garlic and onion smell from the spices. We were quite happy to munch it away and finally presented with a small flower as a gift and asked to sign their guestbook.

Our rating for this restaurant is 5 out of 5 and definitely a must go for the food lovers out there. Just a small reminder...all the things above does not come cheap...its a great restaurant to celebrate a special something but not for everyday food...in that respect we still prefer Le taj!
