Golf Weekend
Had another shot at the RBA golf course this afternoon. Tried to use my driver but i figured out that i am not ready to use it yet..not in RBA at least...esp the last 9 holes. I think i must have lost around 15 balls this afternoon...damn those bloody ponds and hazards. My overall pint was 128 which is actually an improvement from my last game! Tomorrow will be practising my iron arnd the par 3 course..hope i can score below 40 tomorrow..till then..night night

Tired!
Oh before i forgot..a giant monitor lizard passed by me when i was about to hit my ball on the fairway this afternoon..i was totally shocked and totally disrupted my game..a potential par became a 9 stroker! On the bright side..almost had my first birdie on a par 3 hole...but i guess its just not my luck yet..will not give up! Mental note: i need to pay that indian dude $12 for the balls i bought this afternoon..in my defense i got no small change and desperately in the need for more balls!
K then..ciao!

A year older not a year wiser : )
She-Ra suprised me with a super special dinner the chocolate cake and Calderetta (beef thingy with a potato and a really yummy sauce). The birds were there too joining us for dinner. They brought fried chicken and ice cream. After overeating, they put on the first episode of Supernatural. I do not know if She-Ra and I want to finish off the series
I got the feeling that it will be an interesting and challenging year ahead...lets just wait and see..

Perodua news. I got this from the BBC - I swear!! hehe
Malaysia lambasts Top Gear host
Jeremy Clarkson thinks Perodua Kelisa sounds like a disease |
The BBC presenter has been filmed attacking the Perodua Kelisa with a sledgehammer before blowing it up.
But minister Abdul Raman Suliman defended the nation's car industry, saying Mr Clarkson was like a football commentator who cannot play football.
Perodua had not received a single complaint from UK owners, he told MPs.
He added that the comments were made merely to boost sales of the Top Gear magazine.
'Soulless'
Mr Clarkson has voiced his frustrations with the small three-cylinder model in both magazine articles and on film.
In one article, he said its name was like a disease and suggested it was built in jungles by people who wear leaves for shoes.
And in a DVD car review, he described it as "unimaginative junk, with no soul, no flair and no passion".
He then smashed it, hung it from a crane with a one-tonne weight attached, before blowing it up.
Perodua is Malaysia's second national carmaker and began producing small compact models in 1995.

No more 18 holes Virgin
If I am to describe RBA course... it is 'damn difficult' and it was sooo hot. Another frustration was that my golf parter is as short-sighted as I am.... so once the ball went up... it was pretty much like a treasure hunt.... thus 10 balls were lost. Hehe. Which is great for the little man on a bike selling balls gathered off the Jerudong golf course. Once I find him that is... then I can get my 50 balls for 20 bucks.
I guess I'll have to give it a few more goes before I can join the DRM Golfers for their monthly championships. Cheers.

Working Abroad
I wonder how many young Bruneians are willing to take that risk..to come out of their comfort zone...to put aside whatever wonderful things that they have in Brunei and venture for a new experience, new life, new culture...etc. I know a lot would like to do it...but i wonder how many will actually do...
