Kg Ayer Outing

In the photography world..the world seems to be divided into two..the Nikonians or the Canonians. You can never get a straight answer on which one is better. At the end of the day..its all bog down to who your friends are and how much money are you willing to burn. Fortunately..i am on the better half...The Nikon Sidehehe

This argument seemed to be the center of discussion in our last photography Kg Ayer outing held by the BSRC Photography club yesterday morning. Our mission is very simple..we have no mission! The idea is to shoot for fun...and more importantly to socialize and learn from each other. KgAyer is still the Kg Ayer i knew years ago. One thing i noticed was they was less rubbish than before and they were quite a few construction work going on along the Brunei rivers.

We started from Kianggeh and cruised along the Brunei river bypassing and stopping by at some landmarks namely Damuan, the Sultan`s palace and one of the Sultan`s Makams. We had a glimpse of the sought after proboscis monkey but none of us managed to get a shot of the bugger. The trip lasted for a good 3 hrs and we came back with an empty tummy, a full memory card and sore ass!Below are some of my shots from the trip and looking fwd to the next outing! Insyallah will post more pics this week..

Wii Fit

Found this online as i googled through the news last night. A video game that calculates your body mass, weight and recommend the suitable exercise and whether you are doing it with the right exercising techniques. Dream comes true eh...a full time personal trainer who you can switch on/off anytime you like without having to go the Gym!.

Wonder whats next in line in the Wii product line...the last i heard Wii is thinking to replace the joysticks with helmets that somehow can read your thoughts and translate them into the screen! This somehow reminds me of that scene of Sly Stallone and Sandra Bullock in Demolition man..yikes!

Good luck and best wishes goes to all my work colleagues who will be facing the unforgiving, nerve breaking and torturous moments of their life..i.e. sitting for the CIMA exams. Its a nasty game as some will come out as heroes and some will fall. The idea is not to give up and to give it your best shot!

Silly me!

Took a day off from work as my eyes are still red from the infection last weekend. After giving Aydin a bath decided to do something productive and run off to DST to swap my Astro card. After doing so thought might as well settle my E-speed bills which was long overdue.

Took a number and waited for another 40 mins. After the long wait..my number finally came out from the screen and confidently i asked for my E-speed bills. The counter lady looked so puzzled...and told me TelBru is still open and close at 430...kweng kweng kweng

There goes my morning..!
